Ok. So, if you haven’t guessed . . . I do, in fact, love disney.
I am sure that this blog will not be another all about Disney blog. There are so many wonderful places on the internet world dedicated to that. This is my story. It is about my every day life story. And sadly, I am not at Disney every day. Although, that does have an element of appeal to it. I have been to both Disneyland and Disney World recently. I am planning to go again in the near future as well. So, I will be sharing all about my Disney adventures. And I will be sharing my love of Disney.
In the mean time, I wanted to share my top 5 Disney park favorites.
#1 -Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Ok. This is a broad one. I didn’t know what to expect. I mean you basically pay for a park admission for just a few hours in the Magic Kingdom. But, oh man! What a treat! I loved the character greetings, the Christmas parade, free cocoa and cookies, and the amazing Holiday Wishes show. This was a dream come true for me! I had an absolute blast! It was so overwhelming and oh so much fun!
#2 -The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
I am so sad that this attraction is no longer. I was so blessed to get to see it in its very last run. I had always heard how amazing it was. It is another one of those you have to be there to really experience it. I love Christmas. I love Christmas lights. So, it would have been hard for me not to love this. However, this went beyond. It was a truly immersive experience that only could be appreciated on the ground, under the lights, music playing, and snow falling. What a great experience!
#3 – Paint the Night
Ok. I could probably just say the Disneyland Diamond celebration. But honestly, this parade is phenomenal. I was completely in awe the entire parade. I would like to go back just to see that one parade. It was visually jaw dropping! By far my favorite part of the Diamond Celebration!
#4 – Epcot’s IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
Another great show! Oh my! Epcot is my least favorite park. So, I have missed the evening outdoor show because we always leave early or only plan a half day in that park. We stayed on our last visit. Wow!! It was so amazing. I just love how it incorporates so many elements from the illuminating earth, lasers, fireworks, water, lights, and music. It is visually stunning as well. Admittedly, this is not a great photo. It is all I have. I am big on being in the moment. I didn’t want to miss the show. Also, it was raining, so I didn’t have my DSLR with me. I didn’t want to fuss with getting a photo and miss this amazing show.
#5 – Cars Land
That is worth every single amazing word. It seriously needs to be experienced. I was blown away. It really is like walking right down the street in one of my favorite beloved movies.
So . . . I learned something about myself today. I apparently like Disney Parks at night AND I love the shows. I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed that part of the parks. But, I do. It was hard to do a top 5 when there are so many things to love about each park. I just went with the first things that I loved that popped in my mind.
